Divorce Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which both parties jointly hire an independant, neutral, third party with extensive knowledge and training to guide them through the legal process and avoid costly litigation. Mediation helps the parties resolve issues and negotiate meaningful compromise on all issues leading to a full, fair and final agreement.
Benefits:
- Less Stress – meeting and conversations in a neutral, informal setting
- More Control – parties are able to decide what is best for their family.
- Less Time and Expense – working cooperatively limits time and cost of obtaining results. Litigation drains family resources and often results take longer time because of busy court schedules.
- Open and Honest Communication – mediation is an open process and requires honest communication between parties.
